To accept and process credit cards over the Internet, you must set up a merchant account designed to handle these transactions with your bank and have a payment gateway. Authorize.NET will create a merchant account for you and setup your payment Gateway or you can implement the gateway ONLY if you already have a merchant account.

If you already have a merchant account check with your provider to see what options they may have that can posibly be bundled into your plan and possibly recieve reduced fees.

RocketCart supports 7 different payment gateways. Included among them is a variety of PayPal products. PayPal PayFlow Pro, which is already built into RocketCart, is the most utilized payment gateway in the industry. When considering any payment gateway, we recommend that you work with your bank to determine if they offer any programs. Most do, but in the end, they typically resell either Authorize.net or PayFlow Pro.
